How to get to the residence Peramal?
From the center of Grand Bay
From the center of Grand Bay, at the crossroads with traffic lights (the bar B52) take the coastal road to Mont Choisy, cross the Sunset Boulevard, continue straight (along the Church of Grand Bay which is right between the street and the sea). Then the traffic light, continue straight (about 1 km) on the coastal road, on the right admire Tamil temple, continue on 150 m. Here we are faced with the restaurant Le Capitaine.
From Mon Choisy
Take the coastal road from Mon Choisy Grand Bay and along one of the most beautiful beaches of the island. 300 meters after the beach, turn right at the roundabout of Pointe aux Cannoniers then straight on 1.5 km and there you can discover the beautiful bay on the left. Another 150 m and take the street just before the restaurant le Capitaine and after this, you will find the Residence Peramal with its holiday rental studios and apartments.
From Port-Louis, the Capital of the island
Port Louis, the capital of the island. Take the road to the northwest of the island that leads directly to Grand Baie. At the roundabout after the shopping center La Croisette, turn left and continue towards the clinic in Grand Bay. Continue straight until the traffic lights. Turn left and approximately 1 km, admire the Tamil temple on the right. Another 150 m further we find ourselves in front of the restaurant le Capitaine. Take the lane immediately to the right and you will find the Residence Peramal with its studios and apartments facing the sea.

How many persons does a classic studio and panoramic studio accommodate?
The classic as well as the panoramic studio can accommodate 1 or 2 people.
Possibility of adding a bed for an extra person in the same room . ( Supplement Rs 300 , about 8 Euros for the additional bed ) .
Possibility of a cot on request (free).
How many persons does the family apartment accommodate?
Ideal for 3 or 4 persons,
Possibility of an additional bed ( surcharge of Rs 300 , about 8 Euros for the additional bed ) in the lounge.

Are there any classic studios, panoramic studios or family apartments smokers and nonsmokers ?
All classic studios , panoramic studio and family apartments are non smoking. However, smoking on the terrace or balcony of your studio or apartment is tolerated.
Is housekeeping done every day ?
Maids are daily from 9:00 to 1:00 p.m. .
Bed linen and towels are provided.
Every day, the bathroom, the toilet as well as the kitchen are disinfected.
After each check-out, the room is cleaned to white, that is to say:
Clean and disinfect thoroughly tiled floors and walls, the room, the kitchen and the bathroom.
Kitchen in deep cleaning, refrigerator, microwave oven and induction hob.
Clean and disinfect.
Allow air enter in the studio / panoramic studio or family apartment, turn the mattress and replace the sheets, towels and pillowcases .

Is there an air service in conventional studios , panoramic studios and family apartments ?
Yes, all our classic studios , panoramic studios and family apartments are equipped with individual air conditioner ; a remote control allow you to set your air conditioner temperature that suits you.
There will be an additional fee of RS250 per day , about 6 Euros for air conditioning for each studio or classic panoramic studio.
Will take an additional Rs 500 per day about 12 Euros for air conditioning of a family apartment.
The classic studios, panoramic studios and family apartments, they equipped with safe ?
Yes, all classic studios, panoramic studios and family apartments are equipped with electronic safe.
The classic studios, panoramic studios and family apartments they have a hair dryer ?
No, however the hair dryer is available on request and free.
The classic studios, panoramic studios and family apartments have they an iron ?
No, however you can make a request at the reception and it’s free .
What type of employed electrical outlet at the residence?
All rooms are equipped with electric G-type sockets, 3 rectangular pins 220 volts.
What are the available TV channels in the room ?
We have 3 local channels and Canal + (Free).

Do you offer a babysitting service?
Yes, on request – paid service.
For a babysitting between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. , will take 300 rupees for two hours babysitting and 50 rupees for every additional hour From 16:00 and until 23:00, will take 400 rupees for two hours and 100 rupees for every additional hour .
Is it possible to have a cot in the room?
Yes, we can place a crib for a baby of 0-3 years up in a room (please specify when booking )
From 4 years old , you must add an extra bed 300 rupees about 7 euros .

Can we change our foreign currency MUR directly at the residence ?
Yes, we put at your disposal the possibility of the exchange service at reception.
What is the currency of Mauritius and approximate conversion rate ?
The currency is the Mauritian rupee and its rate of 1 euro = about 40 rupees.
What are the accepted credit cards at the residence?
Visa , MasterCard and Maestro .
Is it possible to rent a car or bicycle directly at the residence ?
Yes , we offer a car rental service and bicycle , please contact the reception.
Is it possible to rent a car directly with the Residence Peramal and recovered at the airport ?
Yes, it is possible to rent a car directly with the residence. Will provide us with the flight details when booking . For one day , it will take 1200 rupees per day for rental. For 1-3 days , it will take 1000 rupees per day for rental. For three days , it will take 800 rupees per day for rental. If you want to retrieve the car at the airport it will take 1000 rupees for the trip.
Is it possible to rent a scooter directly with the Residence Peramal ?
Yes, it is possible the scooter rental is from 500 rupees , about 13 euros per day , including insurance and unlimited mileage.
Is it possible to rent a bike directly with the Residence Peramal?
Yes, bike rental is from 200 Rupees, about 5 euros a day.
Does the residence offers a service to post mail / postcards?
No, however there is a small distribution post office not far from the Residence Peramal, about five minutes walk. Later in the center of Grand-Bay you have the big post office or you can post your mail.
General informations :
What are the hours of arrival and departure (check-in / check-out)?
The check-in is available from 12:00 noon. However, if the traditional studio / panoramic studio or family apartment is available before, it will gladly make you check in upon arrival.
Checking out of your classic studio / panoramic studio apartment or family must be at 11:00. However if you want to keep your classic studio / panoramic studio or family apartment later than 11:00, we will take an extra night, informing the direction before to see availability.
Are the ADSL and Wifi available at the residence?
Yes, Wifi is available at the Residence Peramal and it’s free. We have three zones Wifi, one per floor area. We also have an RJ45 plug in each classic studio / panoramic studio and family apartments.
We are also an extension for the internet connection.
Does the residence has a car park?
Yes, we have a parking right outside the residence near the reception. The night vigil is just nearby.
Does the residence has a security service?
Yes, The Residence Peramal has set up surveillance cameras and a night watchman is here from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
Practical information and shopping:
How to get to the residence when I arrive at the airport?
We offer our customers the availability of a transfer service. For 1 or 2 people, it will take Rs 1500, approximately 37.5 euros for a car for the transfer from the airport to the residence Peramal in Grand Baie. For 3 people, you have to add Rs 200, about 5 euros for each additional person minibus for the transfer from the airport to the residence Peramal in Grand Bay.
Opportunity also to take a taxi directly to the airport. But will take more than our prices for this option. Possibility also to take public transportation for the trip from the airport to Grand Baie where Peramal Residence is located.
Have to take a bus from the airport exit to Port Louis, buses available every hour. Then have to change Station Road from Victoria Station to the Gare du Nord and then take the bus from the North Station to Grand Baie. Will provide about four hours to the total travel time.
How does the transfer from the airport ?
If you have booked a transfer from the airport , so we will need all flight details. Then all you have to do is to tread the Mauritian soil. The driver of the residence will be there waiting for you .
Why do I need my flight details ?
It is important for us to know on which airline you fly and the corresponding flight number and the time of landing. This also allows us to keep us updated about whether a flight is delayed , and so you no longer have to worry about anything.
Can I book my flight from Residence Peramal ?
No. We got back on stage once you ‘re off the plane until it takes you back to the airport for your return flight . You can only book accommodation and airport transfer with us.
Why is it advisable to book at least one airport transfer upon arrival?
After a flight of about 12 hours, you will surely be tired and will have one thing in mind: to be in your home as quickly as possible. In Mauritius, driving is on the left, which is why we do not recommend you to take the wheel yourself.
The signs are rare and you will not find any names on houses entrance doors. You enter an entirely different world. For your own safety and comfort, we recommend booking an airport transfer, at least for their arrival flight.
It’s so nice to get off the plane knowing that everything is already planned to take you to your home, and all you have to do is get in the taxi.
Are there was a bus stop close to the residence?
Yes, about 3 minutes walk from the residence you have a bus stop to the center of Grand Bay and the other side to the beach of Mont Choisy.
What is the nearest shopping center in the residence?
Grand Bay La Croisette which is five minutes by car. There is also the Super U which is about five minutes drive from the Residence Peramal.
How do I get to Port Louis, the capital of Mauritius?
Port Louis is about 25 km from Grand Baie. You can get there by taxi, minibus if you are more than four people. Contact us welcome to organize.
There is public transportation that much deserve line Grand Baie Port Louis. Just go to the nearest bus stop. By day there is a bus every 15 minutes.
The trip to Port Louis is about an hour. From the center of Grand Bay, there is every 30 minutes, an express bus that leaves Grand Baie Port Louis from 07:00 to 17:00. The bus ride is about 40 minutes.
